Construction Update
Drilling Down, and Laying the Groundwork.
Construction has been moving well right up to the Holiday Season. We made a big push with the geo-exchange for the bare land strata houses: we have now drilled all of the holes for these detached homes, and the drill rigs are pulling out of the site. There are 82 holes in total, at varying depths of up to 250 feet. Meanwhile, the horizontal piping and tiebacks to each home’s mechanical room will begin early in the New Year, and should be complete by February. Progressive Construction has been doing a flawless job with their installation of hydro, cable, telephone ducts, and light standard bases, and we expect them to complete their work by the end of January. And we are moving well on Phase 2: our framers have now finished their pre-fabrication enclosure on site, and will be forming the foundation as soon as permits are released. We expect permits to come through sometime in January. So there is plenty going on, and plenty to be excited about for early 2012.
