Anne received her Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy from McGill in 1979 and her Masters of Physical Therapy from University of Western Ontario in 1997. She has extensive experience working with patients of all ages with musculoskeletal injuries and those undergoing treatment for cancer. She is a nationally recognised expert in the assessment and treatment of people undergoing treatment for cancer including the areas of fatigue, neuropathy and limb loss/reconstruction. She enjoys helping all people achieve their personal goals. She volunteers locally leading introductory and ½ marathon walking groups and has participated in Pilates for over 10 years. She also loves to travel and hike when she is able.

Alison Coffey

Alison grew up in Ladner and has always been highly involved in the Delta athletic community, competing on local fastpitch, soccer, and volleyball teams. She is a DSS grad, and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. There, she competed as an NCAA division one athlete, playing on the fastpitch team for four years while completing her degree. She completed her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia. In addition, Alison completed her acupuncture certification in 2014 under the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI).   She has experience with a vast variety of patient populations including athletes, pediatrics, MVA patients, and the elderly. Her passion is sports injury rehabilitation and helping athletes return to sport with the knowledge and tools to prevent re-injury and keep them functioning at the highest level possible. Alison’s experience as a high-level athlete gives her a unique perspective and understanding when working with injured athletes. Alison continues to be involved in the fastpitch community through coaching and running skills camps for young athletes in the summer months.

Kathleen Schmit

Katie holds a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology (UBC). Katie is an NSCA certified personal trainer and is continuing her education by pursuing her Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Additional post-graduate credentials include Mulligan Mobilization with Movement Concept and The Shoulder Made Simple Seminars. After graduating from the Physical Therapy program, Katie worked as a therapist for the CIS basketball team. Her passion for rehabilitating athletes stemmed from growing up as competitive dancer. She continues to teach and practice different dance disciplines and keeps active by hiking, swimming, downhill skiing and practicing yoga.

Morgan Sangster

CSEP-CPT Candidate

Morgan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Acadia University and an Advanced Athletic Therapy Diploma from Mount Royal University. She became a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2013. Morgan has worked as a therapist for both CIS Men’s Football and Women’s Volleyball while completing her studies on the East Coast. She has since gone on to work as an Athletic Therapist with the Richmond Sockeyes Junior Hockey Team, Meraloma’s Rugby Club and is actively involved with many BC Rugby Teams. Most recently, she worked at Treloar Physiotherapy Clinic in Vancouver as part of their Kinesiologist/Active Rehab Team. Morgan’s passion for working amongst athletes stems from her extensive sporting background in volleyball, softball, soccer, basketball and tennis. When not on the sidelines or in the clinic, Morgan enjoys an active lifestyle and participates in Crossfit training and beach volleyball.
