PGA of BC | ALS Golfathon

Join Tsawwassen Springs in our fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) as we take part in the 21st Annual PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS presented by Blue Cross. On Friday, June 19th, we will play as much golf as possible to raise awareness and funds for the ALS Society of BC. Every dollar raised will stay in BC, benefiting the society’s patient services programs. ALS does not stop, and neither can we. Whether it’s a charitable donation or spreading the word to friends and family, your involvement is invaluable in taking action on behalf of those living with ALS in BC.

Golf Course Aeration

Our golf course will be closed April 7th – 9th and our driving range will be closed April 6th – 10th.

Aeration is the process of creating small holes in the soil of a golf course to improve airflow, reduce compaction, and enhance water and nutrient uptake. This crucial maintenance practice promotes healthy turf by allowing oxygen to reach the grass roots, leading to firmer putting surfaces and better playability. While temporarily disruptive, aeration is essential for a high-quality golfing experience. Aeration is typically done twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall.

Festival of Lights 2025

The Tsawwassen Springs Festival of Lights was a shining example of community spirit, bringing people together for a meaningful cause and raising an incredible $38,069. Thanks to the generosity of attendees, sponsors, and volunteers, the event not only lit up the season but also made a lasting impact through its fundraising efforts. It was a joyful celebration filled with connection, goodwill, and festive cheer—one that truly reflected the heart of the Tsawwassen Springs community.

Poppy Fund

Thank you to everyone who came out to play golf on November 10 & 11! $10 from every green fee paid we donated $2540 for the Poppy Fund. Pictured left Matt Sutherland, Jill Presley, Tanya MacNeill & Ken Harvey.

For years, you’ve generously donated and proudly wore your poppies to show you remember. Did you ever wonder where the money goes? Although the annual poppy campaign only lasts for a couple of weeks each fall, poppy funds are hard at work all year long.

Here are a few examples of your poppy donations at work:

-Assisting any person (and their dependents) who is serving (or who has honourably served) in the Canadian Forces and are in need of assistance.

-Legion Veterans Transition Program (at UBC): a relief & recovery program for trauma-related stress from military service.

-Housing for homeless veterans, such as Cockrell House in Victoria

Disaster relief when declared by governments.
