Tsawwassen Springs Twilight and Sunset rates are effective starting Monday, March 9th. The conditions have been great and we are looking forward to a great Spring season of golf. Daylight savings time starts on Sunday, March 8th at 2:00am where clocks are turned forward 1 hour. More natural daylight in the evenings, which allows for longer play!
Don’t forget you can book a tee-time 7 days in advance. We have a great booking engine on our website and stay tuned for our online APP that will make booking a tee time easy with just a few clicks on your smart phone.

We had an enormous turn out for donations this holiday season at Tsawwassen Springs. Thank you to everyone who took the time out of their day to rummage through their house for items they were willing to part with, as well as those who went as far as to go shopping for new toys and clothes. With a count of 505 items collected, we more than doubled the amount of donations we received last year!
We wanted to share with everyone the photos we took over the course of the last two weeks, including where the donations ended up, and how much everyone has contributed towards along with the rest of the Lower Mainland. Thank you again for the many generous donations that were dropped off at the Golf Pro Shop, the Sales Center, and with the Builder.

This was at 7 AM last Friday, the morning of our cut off donation time. And we were still counting.
We had two vehicles stuffed to the brim. Fully loaded.
The Coats for Kids crates that we added to at the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.
Bikes are a super rare gift for the Christmas Bureau to receive. This year, they got sponsors – and a whole lot of children are getting a brand new bike this holiday season.
They call this the Toy Room, where items are sorted and families get to bring their children in to shop for an age appropriate gift.
The children are also guaranteed one new book with each toy they pick up.

Framing is taking on excellent shape at the Clubhouse. We are now working on the rooftop trusses – easily the biggest and the most complicated process in constructing this building. Take a look below at the intricate work happening on our roof.

Three trusses stand ready to be picked up by the crane and lifted to the roof.
Many of the interior walls are sheeted and securely nailed to provide shear walls that prevent the building from swaying sideways.

After the trusses are completed, we will sheet the roof and apply shingles. The work on the shingles will begin within the month of November.
At Tsawwassen Springs, we encourage you to come out and play a round of golf or two to support a wonderful cause. For every green fee we receive on Monday November 10th and Tuesday, November 11th, we will contribute $10.00 towards the Poppy Fund.

For years, you’ve generously donated and proudly wore your poppies to show you remember. Did you ever wonder where the money goes? Although the annual poppy campaign only lasts for a couple of weeks each fall, poppy funds are hard at work all year long.
Here are a few examples of your poppy donations at work
– Assisting any person (and their dependents) who is serving (or who has honourably served) in the Canadian Forces and are in need of assistance.
– Legion Veterans Transition Program (at UBC): a relief & recovery program for trauma-related stress from military service.
– Housing for homeless veterans, such as Cockrell House in Victoria.
– Disaster relief when declared by governments.
– George Derby Veterans Home
– Community medical equipment and research
– Meals-on-wheels
We had great weather right through the month of September lets hope October brings the same! It’s a known fact that Tsawwassen is drier and sunnier.
